That’s why, despite the coronavirus raging across Europe, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin went to Germany, Austria and France this week. That’s why he took IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi with him..... That’s also why Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi simultaneously headed to Moscow on Monday to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.(Lavrov just welcomed a delegation of high-level Hezbollah operatives)
All three Israeli leaders made these emergency trips to brief European and Russian officials on the growing threat of war.
But Rivlin isn’t done...Now he wants to address a Joint Session of Congress in Washington. Rivlin has been formally invited and expressed his desire to accept... The timing of Rivlin’s speech – which would be his first to Congress, and perhaps one of his last major speeches before he leaves office this summer – is dependent on when Congress can meet all together

I’ve also never seen our Leadership so weak and out of step with the International community.....and our enemies see it too...
His quietness, that little is written of him in this happening...speaks volumes somethings going on. And he cancelled 4 trips. I suspect he’s otherwise occupied behind the scenes as is often the case..
What are the blowhards in congress going to do to help them?

True but not sure there’s much payoff going before THIS congress either. Guess its a matter of checking boxes so they can say we served notice.
Wants to Address the US Congress? Might as well address the Iranian Congress. They’re all on the same team.
Perhaps the time has come to blow the Iranian bomb making facilities to smithereens. Take out the mullah’s also to cut off the head of the snake and free the Iranian people in the process.
The choice to be weighed is obviously which is preferable, extensive destruction from the Lebanon rocketry or annihilation from the Iranian nukes-to-be. For many of our own politicians the choice would be obviously the later annihilation because it is, well, later. I hope that Israeli pols don’t think that way, at least not Netanyahu.

I don’t believe Biden is the “President” in anything but name and appearance only. I don’t know who the unelected individual(s) running America’s executive branch is, but it is not Biden.

Weakness invites aggression. Always has, always will.
The consequences of this ineptitude, weakness and deliberate neglect will be long lasting. We’ll pay for it for decades to come.
It’s beyond concerning watching the World Stage in such movement.....tensions could snap without much pressure and Biden’s hopelessly incompetent as is his administration.
Imagine what Trump must be thinking. He has to be horrified because he knows full well how quickly this could spiral out of control without strong leadership.
