The media is currently pushing the story of “2 million Covid infections” in Florida. Reading any of these stories one finds the small detail that this “2 million” refers to a total count *since the pandemic began*. And that’s measured infections, not deaths.
Sounds like a narrative to me that will make anyone just reading a headline think 2 M infected now.
I hate the F*ng lying, narrative-shoveling media.

You shouldn't either.
Covid is just like the Flu and the Common cold
EVERYONE gets infected.
Folks already sick with disease like cancer unfortunatly have a shot at death
Here is the thing that bothers me. No one says when
A case is statistically closed. In the medical field we stop isolation at 14 days as you are no longer contagious. CDC has as little as a 10 day quarantine recommendation for infected people who are asymptomatic for 48 hours (specifically no fever). If this is the case in Florida there have been about 75000 cases in the last 14 days. We should be seeing cases moved to resolved but there remains this giant ass number hanging in not resolved. This is one of the subtle but completely bogus statistics of the disease. My guess in the state of Florida is that there are less than 50,000 active cases as this time.
