China will allow foreigners to enter the country, but it has directed embassies around the world to only issue a visa if the traveler has gotten a COVID-19 vaccine that was made in China.
“It’s very much at the sharp end of vaccine diplomacy,” Nicholas Thomas, an associate professor in health security at the City University of Hong Kong, told CNN. “(It’s) essentially saying if you want to visit us, you need to take our vaccine.”
There has been no Chinese-made vaccine approved for human use in America, nor is there likely to be one anytime soon. China has created 5 different vaccines but none have been approved by the WHO. This is probably due to the fact that the Chinese government refuses to release the results of Stage 3 trials — a crucial requirement for vaccine approval in the U.S. and other western countries.
China’s main entry in the vaccine race — Sinovac — has an announced effectiveness of 78 percent against COVID. But Brazil actually conducted a Stage 3 trial and found it only 50.38 percent effective — far less effective than any other vaccine on the market.
Where does that leave the U.S., the UK, and other nations that have not approved a Chinese vaccine for use?
That means China can’t claim its preference for homegrown vaccines is due to them being superior to other vaccines. Instead, Thomas sees China’s new visa rules as a “power move,” which will pressure people to take one of China’s vaccines.
Sarah Chan, a reader in bioethics at the University of Edinburgh’s College of Medicine, says if someone’s livelihood depends on traveling to China for work, that could push them to take the vaccines, despite their lack of data.

Should be easy for this corrupt administration to simply declare that we don’t recognize foreign vaccinations. Stop the air carriers from allowing improperly vaccinated passengers to travel to or through our territory.
If we had a conservative party, they’d put forth a bill to do this.

Business leaders transferred their companies’ IP to China to save a few cents per unit. If China says they have to get the Chinese vaccine to keep selling out their country they’ll line up for it.

The only reason the US won WWII was self sufficiency in manufacturing in every category of product. We were able to ramp up that capacity to equip a gigantic military mobilization and supply our allies with war materials.
Today we do not have the industrial infrastructure to fight WWII. Much less a future major war with China. That industrial capacity took over a century to build and it was dismantled in 20 years. Plus the human capital to run integrated vertical manufacturing supply chains is gone. It will take decades to rebuild our domestic supply chains under an all out national effort to do so and there is no plan to do so. If the Chinese take out our aircraft carriers, and implement an embargo of exports to the US, we will surrender within six months. China knows Joe Biden and his puppet master will not use nuclear weapons when they take out our carriers and demand we disarm.
The political leaders of the GOP are silent, simply spectators watching the collapse. Likely they know what is coming. Meanwhile our military and law enforcement agencies are focused on rooting out domestic white terrorists or protecting transgender rights. Our education system is dedicated to turning out social justice warriors, not the engineers and managers required to design and run a 21st century industrial infrastructure.
In the darkest days of 1940, Britain had the US to keep it afloat and come to the rescue. If China puts our back against the wall, which of our allies will come to our rescue? Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Israel, Mexico, Canada, Saudi Arabia, South Korea? They will all turn away despite the fact we have funded a military to protect them for 75 years. They will laugh as we go down, just as they are laughing today at Joe Biden falling down while the US press hides the story.

I was excited about manufacturing & energy independence President Trump’s leadership allowed to ramp up... only to have the deep state sell-outs cheat, lie, steal & prostitute our country.
