Anyone tried to watch sports without a crowd? It's just not the same...
I gave up on the olympics decades ago. I literally could not care less what they do.
This will be a financial bust for Japan.
I figured the last set of Olympics was my last.....refuse to watch men who think they are women play on womens teams. Not my idea of entertainment.
Or when they allowed murderers with artificial legs to compete.
I know most people here don’t care, but this is a bummer for me. Olympics + Tokyo would have been a great vacation. Oh, well.
Then ban the foreign media too. No staff from anywhere but Japan. That will be just great.
Watching college football with the canned cheering was painful.
Hooray Japan
Only Japs in the stands is like having no one in the stands.
They’re very quiet and respectful.
Oh Tokyo
They got some sake and sashimi
And some clean sheets
Oh Kimono Kimono!
Two hours of back stories for a 20 second race...
This is sad for the Olympics but it says something about Japan. They are doing this to protect their own people. No fear of repercussion. No fear of being called Nationalists.
No Gaijin allowed, didn’t surprise me the Japanese would do this.
You must have some serious coin...
Just a dying population with young people that won’t breed.
No one cares a whit. I couldn’t be more pleased.
The 2019 Rugby World Cup was the best international sports event ever.
I gave up when started allowing professional basket ball players and cyclist. What is the point of a once every four years pro league?
The way young people here are behaving not breeding is a good thing.
LOL, probably. Though our demographic shift is going in a terrible direction. At least Japan is still almost entirely “Japanese”.
