It's a lie. "Tradition" =/= truth, and if it can't be found in scripture, "traditions", especially catholic traditions, must be discarded as lies. Given the historical corruption and heresy of the catholic "church."

I’m a born and raised and schooled in parochial school Catholic. I take it all now with a grain of salt. But you should exercise your faith your way. Give others the same curtesy. We have too many anti Christian enemies who want to kill us.
