Funny number. I was going to say that may be the case here in Texas (assuming it’s not the law, already), but unlikely in the rest of the country, and impossible for the world, especially considering India, Africa, and China*.

Think so. The one Dad bought was a Dodge I think very similar.
My favorite was a 62 Plymouth Satellite. Very dark red almost a crimson. At night it almost looked black. Rolled/pleated bucket seats. 318 push buttons. It was the fastest car in town off the lights. The 327s would catch her down the strip but she’d run off and leave them the first 200 yards.

Not my car they can’t. My 2003 GMC Envoy Denali had the gps antenna removed a very long time ago and hitting the onstar button does nothing.

Once Musk’s satellite network is up, there will be coverage. At that point it is up to ‘them’, or masters, if they want to monitor your town. So, you should be good for another year or two before that possibility unfolds.

I just finished re-watching that series "Person of Interest" kinda silly but underling premise rings pretty true for today. Unfortunately it isn't available anywhere for free, I Tivo'd it and still have it. Doesn't seem far fetched at all today well except for those 98 pound females taking out six 240 pound security guys in hand to hand combat. Well I guess I should mention those machine guns that never run out of ammo too.

Do I need to? After all, it doesn’t take much for GM (or the feds) to drop a few bucks over to Verizon to have them download the data. A win-win for both of them and the owner never knows it.
