What kind of country allows its children to travel by themselves across a very very dangerous area - subjected to rape, robbery, murder and trafficking?
Why is that never addressed? Why isn’t Mexico taking care of its own children instead of expecting US to do so?

Many of these children are not from Mexico. They area from Central America - Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras. Mexico is complicit in allowing them to cross Mexico’s southern border and through Mexico to the US border. The place to stop the Central American illegals is on Mexico’s southern border, something the Trump administration was trying to accomplish.
