Neither (IMHO). We were either fooled or saw him as the lesser evil.
I voted for Keyes in the primary, but I was willing to support Bush after he won. I can remember how glad I was that it was him leading this nation after 9/11.
Now, all I can do is shake my head at how delusional I was.
