Alexi McCammond, girlfriend of disgraced former White House aide T.J. Ducklo, will not be taking over as editor in chief of Teen Vogue. The journalist said Thursday that she and the publication's parent company, Condé Nast, have "agreed to part ways" after staff members raised concerns over her "racist and homophobic tweets" from 2011, when McCammond was a teenager.
McCammond, who was set to start the new gig on March 24, had already apologized years ago for the offending tweets, in which the journo expressed annoyance at a "stupid asian" teaching assistant, and her desire to "not wake up with swollen asian eyes."
That didn't stop a group of more than 20 Teen Vogue staffers from writing a letter to Condé Nast management and issuing a public statement asserting their grievance and forcefully rejecting the sentiments expressed in McCammond's old tweets.

Teen Vogue, iirc, has been pushing leftist propaganda for a long time. Anyway, this is like the Bolsheviks, Red Guards, and North Korea: You punish people for what they SAID years ago, no matter how much they have changed.

True, but from what I have read about this story/person is:
1) she wrote the tweet apx 10 years ago, when she was a teenager
2) she didn’t disparage a race, but merely said something like “my Asian teacher’s assistant” - merely pointing out her ethnic identity was the crime even though people fill out this stuff on all kinds of government and medical forms.
3) she failed her chemistry test and instead of going to her “Asian Teacher’s Assistant” for help and instruction chose to just complain about it, and her, on twitter. Not very bright or productive but she was just 17 at the time.
I am open to correction if I missed something more serious or misstated the facts.
Couldn’t care less. She would cancel someone like me in an instant. She’s part of woke culture. Taken down by her own monster. That’s a rough definition of justice.
And it’s what it will take to start to end this woke crap.

Its insanity. The most innocent comment can cause persons to lose their job. This even happened several years ago to a NASCAR driver.
