I’m also white and dense, but I don’t think it means what you think it means. I think the 3 banking groups are asking to NOT have inquiries/audits into whether or not they are handling their business in the appropriate racial-equity mode to meet SJW-type standards. Even the “woke” banks are bristling at further investigations into their actual wokeness in their day-to-day workings. JMHO, and may not be correct.
I think you may be right.......sounds sensible to me but when any organization of color/feral gooberment is mentioned I automatically revert to thinking what I did. I hate the big banks and it’s good enough for them.
