Gonna have to stop reading news.
That’s what I’ve actually done. I’m like a “thinking” german in early 30’s germany watching my country go the Nazi path. There’s not a darned thing I can do about it other than prepare so that the impact on me is minimal. But it will impact us all in one way or another. Bigly.

Mrs rktman’s mom, aunt, uncle and grandma (Oma) ended up in nazi interment camps for not following the herd. Grandpa (Opa) was forced to be a mess cook for the duration. Somehow they all managed to reunite at the end of the war. Guess they were religious ‘thinking’ types.
