When I was in college in the mid 60s my spring break meant I could work full time days rather than part time nights.

Same here...my dad was a car dealer. I worked prep, parts, and service until I got DL at 16. Then used car sales.

When I was younger there were no snow days from school. 200 cars and a lot to clear!

My college-student son was already working full time (which is 30 hours these days). At least he gets extra sleep, though, and he can come over here and cadge a meal.

Are their parents paying? Why on earth would they?
