DemocRATs may not have invented the double standard, but they have perfected it.
Bastille II. It’s not only an idea, but will be true progress.
DISTRACTION DISTRACTION DISTRACTION
did I mention DISTRACTION he killed 10s of thousands of senior citizens. He gets the Hillary/Obama award for best Death Panel 2020.
Sociopaths rise to the top in politics—and in mass media.
In DC it is just regarded as “business as usual”.
Insiders assume anyone with any authority is vicious and corrupt.
My cynical mind tells me that of course been known for years Cuomo was a pervert and corrupted. At the highest levels, most politicians are, so its how the party and insiders maintain checks and balances on the group as a whole - mutually assured destruction.
Its that now with the Coup of Nov. 2020, the Junta in charge is a new and different faction of Democrat, and Cuomo, and whatever clique he represents, are being pushed out.
Remember the times. The Democrats were protecting the slimeball Clinton to retain power. It was necessary to also protect his underling Cuomo. The Democrats were far more concerned in exercising real power. In retrospect they were effectively transforming the FBI,State,CIA,NSA,the Pentagon, the judiciary etc. Complaining abused women could not be allowed to stop the process or threaten their power. Unlike the Republicans, the Democrats know how to exercise power. It was true then and it is true today.
Totally awesome and another great article from Daniel Greenfield one of our nation’s finest political writers.
When Ted Kennedy drove off the bridge the democrats defended him-fixed.
Yes, the Rats always defended the “Lion of the Senate” who was popularly known for trying to sexually assault a waitress with Chris Dodd in a DC restaurant.
This time however, KillerCuomo has outlived his usefulness.
Mistress Kamala deems it so.
This means he has to resign as governor, the “distraction” might put him in prison.
Just so no one thinks it is an accidental distraction.
Politicians aspire to power, all politicians. What’s missing today is the tempering of concern for the future of the nation and respect for it’s laws.
The Republicans in NY aren’t saying anything.
Nursing homes receiving Covid patients were most likely to receive the $13,000 per patient from the federal government.
15,000 patients @ $13,000 each = $195,000,000 to the nursing homes.
Annual cost for each patient in a NY nursing home is approximately $146,000 per patient (for shared rooms) - many of which are paid for by Medicaid which is paid to NY State, then disbursed as NY State decides.
15,000 patients @ $146,000 each* = $2,190,000,000.
This is $2.19 Billion that Cuomo saves on elderly nursing home patients to use towards other Medicaid expenditures

Why did Sandra Lee stay with him as long as she did?
They don't need to - just let him twist slowly, slowly in the wind (an old Watergate phrase). Never interrupt your enemy when he is in the process of destroying himself.
They won’t win if he is removed.
They won’t win if he is only removed, and who knows, his replacement might be worse, albeit hard to imagine anyone more odious. But some of my liberal friends are starting to squirm a little whenever I bring up the hypocrisy of female Dems. Where is that battleaxe from Hawaii Maisie Hirono, who said “step up and shut up” during the kangaroo Kavanaugh hearings? Then I also gently remind them that the “me too” stuff is just a diversion from the nursing home scandal.
Throughout history politicians have almost always behaved as narcissistic, power grabbing graspers essentially seeking in the final analysis their own agrandizment depending on their physical and psychological needs. Some, very few, move beyond self and are recorded by history as admirable leaders or statesmen despite thier flaws. Today’s modern day crop is of particular poor quality. Begs the old question: Do the times make the men or do the men make the times?
The biographer, Michael Shnayerson, is the author of The Contender, a biography of Cuomo, of which the author on his site writes, “I think the picture that emerges is ultimately a positive one.” In the recent article, he however fusses, “I discovered that much of Cuomo’s M.O. and many of his character flaws… have been evident for years.” Just not so evident that anyone in the media would actually write honestly about them.
Absolutely
