OSHA Deadline for National Worker Mask Mandate Looms Tomorrow (Today)
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 3-14-2021 | Sundance

On the day after the inauguration (January 21st) JoeBama signed an Executive order on COVID worker Safety, weaponizing the Dept of Labor, OSHA. Literally word-for-word what CTH predicted the previous summer. [Predictions HERE and HERE] Included in that executive order was a deadline of March 15, 2021, for OSHA to determine if a national mandate for workers would be required. That deadline is tomorrow.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is a federal agency that rules over every single business entity in the U.S with employees. If OSHA determines masks are needed, then every operation that falls under the OSHA regulations will be required to force their employees to wear masks. But there is an element that extends beyond the face value of the mandate.

Just like all federal regulations and compliance processes any employee can file a complaint with OSHA against the business for violations of the OSHA compliance standard..... And don't think that enforcement isn't part of the operational plan for COVID mandates. It is within the enforcement of the rules were OSHA can be politically weaponized.

WASHINGTON DC - [...] Covid-19 requirements from OSHA would be very different than the mask guidance and recommendations from the White House or the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

OSHA, a large regulatory agency within the US Department of Labor, has federal power to set and enforce standards to ensure safe working conditions that covers most working Americans in all 50 states. It can enforce requirements anywhere from local shops to factory floors to large corporations. Failure by a business to comply with any OSHA requirement can result in fines, jail time and legal liability.

Federally mandating masks in all workplaces is unprecedented. There were previous regulations on respiratory protection for workers in hazardous environments or healthcare roles, but not for the majority of the American workforce.

[...] A federal OSHA workplace mask regulation would apply even in states that are no longer requiring face coverings or have loosened Covid-19 restrictions.

[...] While many Americans have been going to work throughout the pandemic, some Americans have yet to return to their workplace in a Covid-19 environment. To ensure workers are safe, OSHA is working to expand the ability to report workplace safety complaints in relation to Covid-19 protection.

"We are preparing to implement a national emphasis program that focuses our efforts on violations that put the largest number of workers at risk of contracting coronavirus or are contrary to anti-retaliation principles," a Department of Labor spokesperson told CNN Wednesday. "OSHA is reviewing its enforcement efforts related to Covid-19 and identifying changes to better protect workers and ensure the safety of its compliance officers, "the spokesperson continued. Hey, that's a really nice state economy you got there. Be a shame if anything was to happen to it.

2.5 million oppressive unelected bureaucrats.

This is why it is so important for all Texans to support HB1359, #TEXIT and the TNM, Texas Nationalist Movement to rid our selves of these and the elected shit stains in Washington. HB1359 is in committee now and we are urging all Texans to call their rep, Senator, gov and LT gov and DEMAND the support or will coauthor this bill. This bill will ALLOW Texans to vote as to whether they want to be a free and independent republic once again. Stress to them this will be an election year issue and any NO vote will be dealt with at the election booths.

Texas First. Texan Always

Nope. No Communist Chinese Loyalty devices on my face ever, especially while at work. Think that’s the main reason why I won’t apply at some jobs that I know are hiring. Rather stay on unemployment than wear the damned mask.

Wonder how soon OSHA can force that crap on people who WFH (with your home office as an extension to your workplace - want the IRS tax write-off, you must comply)

Or solo truck drivers...

Or...

What kind of mask would OSHA mandate? The little blue paper masks a lot of folks wear? The cloth masks that are personalized? How about the N95 “cup” style mask?

None of these are effective in blocking 1 micron diameter virus particles. In fact, OSHA won’t recommend the N95 mask n areas where asbestos particles float and they are five times the size of a virus particle. OSHA faces a big liability with the wrong directive.

This Biden guy and his crew are going to kill us all.

I watched an interview a few weeks ago with an industrial hygienist. She advises firms on OSHA regulations. She said if she would have recommended cloth masks and surgical masks for virus protection, she likely would have been sued and out of a job. This was pre Civid-19

Anything that OSHA does with regards to mandating face masks in the workplace should be subject to the OSHA rule-making process under the Administrative Procedures Act.

If masks are so effective in stopping the ChinaVirus.....

Why are there no toxic waste disposal boxes available to collect contaminated masks....

Masks are discarded all over the place.

The main purpose of OSHA is to allow disgruntled fired employees to harass you. I speak from 20 years of experience.

Looking back over my experience with both the 2009 H1N1 outbreak and the 2014 Ebola outbreak, my prediction is this:

CDC = Mr. Rogers
OSHA = Stalin

I had no idea OSHA was getting into this, but you must understand that OSHA rulemaking will be 100% based on NIOSH particle science experiments, and it is therefore 100% guaranteed that they will be requiring fit-tested N95 masks in all occupations.

OSHA making laws like this is like the CDC declaring an eviction moratorium. 100% unconstitutional. Outrageously so.

But nobody in any of our 3 branches of government will do a fkn thing about it. To busy getting rich.

I actually see more masks discarded on the side of rural roads than condoms and beer cans these days.
