The “angle” that the GOP should be playing with Unions is that we put in tariffs. And the GOP is most likely to be protective of US industries.

The problem with that is I understand that many unions went global and now could care less about protecting US industries.

There's an opportunity here for MAGA. The demoncraps are trying to pass laws making it a requirement that blue collars belong to a union that is actively working to outsource their jobs.

President Trump, if he chooses to run again, would be able to communicate that in his typical bull-in-a-china-shop manner that they shouldn't need to pay union dues to china - get them to think past the sale. And given his past record for creating American jobs, he could again say "What have you got to lose?"
