The dogged pursuit of equal results between racial groups across all venues of human endeavor is a formula for tyranny and more racism.
For those who emphasize identity, groups are fundamental building blocks of society. Groups matter—their culture and heritage, the music they listen to, the food they eat, the books they read, the stories they tell their children. All these things matter, and they all vary significantly across groups.
On the other hand, group-egalitarians claim that, absent injustice, we should have equal representation of groups in every human enterprise. But how can that be? If groups matter, some people are going to bounce a basketball 100,000 times a month and other people are going to bounce it 10,000 times a month. If groups matter, their members will not do the same things, believe the same things, think the same things, or act and react in the same ways. Groups have their own integrity, expressing themselves in how they live their lives, raise their children, and spend their time. This will inevitably result in a different presence of groups across various human activities. They will not have similar occupational or professional profiles. They will not be present in the same proportions as members of the National Academy of Sciences, as tenured faculty members, as tech entrepreneurs, hedge-fund managers, small shopkeepers, single parents, or petty criminals.

We have Cultural Marxism, Woke Supremacy, Liberal Elites, White-Liberal-Guilt, and the media and Hollywood that are pushing a synthetic racial divide in America. (Actually, this is happening in other Western countries.) The division does get a lot of traction for people that feel they are victims and for the last 4 years have blamed their problems on DJT. When the November election was over they were satisfied for about 2 weeks but I predict that the snowflakes will be really unhappy when they realized that Biden/Harris don’t deliver the social utopia they desire.
This whole false racial narrative is going to get really bad before most Americans wake up and realize there is no possible to appease the Woke mob. (BTW the Woke mob is mostly disgruntled White college kids.)

Groups by their very nature are different, otherwise one could note identify them as a group. Those differences inevitably result in different outcomes based on their differing physical and mental gifts , relative to others, and their behavior in pursuing life’s opportunities.

Thank you. Good article. But unfortunately it is based on what might be considered a universal moral and just society to start with. This is what we do not have. And this is the problem. The author needs a dose of reality to fully understand the whole picture.
