The problem is that it's a very short leap from that to executing people who don't turn in their guns after the dems pass their new assault weapons ban and make millions of Americans instant felons. In a few years there might be pictures of us on the internet with an M-16 pointed at the back of our heads.
It's just a matter of degree and totalitarian regimes pretty much all act the same, they use their legal systems to eliminate their opposition. We're a lot closer to a totalitarian regime than we've ever been in the history of the U.S.
