California has struggled for five years to create a politically palatable “ethnic studies” curriculum that would teach high schoolers how systemic racism, predatory capitalism, heteropatriarchy and other “structures of oppression” are foundational to American society.
Now, after more than 82,000 public comments, and four major rewrites, the state Board of Education is expected to approve the latest version next week, clearing the way for lawmakers to make a semester-long course in the material a graduation requirement for all of California’s 1.7 million high school students.

A high school diploma from Peoples Republik of Kalifornika is useless and worthless. Since they dropped the testing because the minorities failed at a high rate Ca diplomas are recognized by businesses as worthless and no indication of knowledge or literacy.
How soon will this be followed by “Gender-Injustice” and “Wealth-Injustice” and “Ethnicity-Injustice” and ...? How can TEACHING the ‘3 Rs’ compete for time in the limited classroom day?
The logical person would look at the continuing drop in the education comparison between the USofA and other countries and remember when California set the Gold Standard in the USofA for public education. Now the gold has been replaced by iron pyrite (fools gold) at the same time that per-pupil cost leads the World!
Of course said logical person has already either left or contemplates leaving this State of Fools!

Racial injustice should be studied, especially the racists who believe that they should receive free stuff because of the color of their skin and not because of the content of their character.
