When he threw his hat into the 2020 ring, Biden came out swinging. He mocked President Donald Trump's position on China at a campaign rally.
BIDEN: “China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man...they can’t even figure out how to deal with the fact that they have this great division between the China Sea and the mountains in the east, I mean in the west.... they can’t even figure out how they’re going to deal with the corruption that exists within the system."

...and appeared to claim credit for all the increase in vaccination percentages since he took office. It had all been developed, arranged, contracted and funded before he came along.
It was baked into the cake under President Trump. But Biden was was brazen in assuming credit.

New York politicians were also recommending Broadway shows to see. All of them scoffed at Trump’s efforts to block Chinese from entering the country.

It was Biden himself attacking Trump as going too far with travel restrictions, calling it xenophobic. Nancy Pelosi told people to go to large public gatherings. Dems in New Orleans did not cancel Mardi Gras. NYC continued to hold crowded gatherings. Cuomo and other Dem governors ordered COVID patients into nursing homes among the most vulnerable, accelerating infections and deaths, despite President Trump providing resources making that totally unnecessary. And so on, and so forth.
History is being rewritten, with a compliant media that lies to the public.
Biden, or whoever wrote his speech, is simply trolling Trump. Hoping for a volatile reaction that the media will then jump on to vilify Trump.

The conspiracies really helped Biden by convincing many otherwise conservative people to believe untruths, for instance that the Wuhan virus is not dangerous.
