I don't think the two are equal. The guns are/ were/was privately owned and sold. The government created the legal bullion and thus 'owns" it. As long, as the Supreme Court said, gives legal tender for legal tender, no infringement.
Hard for the Supremes or Kamela to get around that and the Second amendment by executive order.
