An unprecedented flood of migrants heading for the United States from the Mexican border has created a dangerous crisis that has the Biden administration scrambling to react.
And when CNN is the one reporting it, you know it must be very bad.
US authorities arrested and encountered more than 100,000 migrants on the US-Mexico border over the past four weeks ending on March 3, according to data obtained by CNN, marking the highest levels for the same time frame in five years.
The number of migrants arrested on the southern border has been increasing in recent weeks, causing alarm among officials as they scramble to provide resources for the increase in minors and families who are unlawfully crossing into the US.
The surge in migrants adds to a growing sense of emergency for the Biden administration which has been seeking to unwind the Trump administration’s immigration policies over that time.
Things have gotten so bad that Alejandro Mayorkas, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, is asking DHS staff to volunteer to help deal with what he is calling an “overwhelming” number of migrants at the U.S.-Mexican border. Mayorkas emailed DHS personnel on Monday to plead for help.
“Today, I activated the Volunteer Force to support Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as they face a surge in migration along the Southwest Border,” Mayorkas said in an email to staff, seen by Fox News.
“You have likely seen the news about the overwhelming numbers of migrants seeking access to this country along the Southwest Border,” he said. “President Biden and I are committed to ensuring our Nation has safe, orderly, and humane immigration system while continuing to balance all other critical DHS missions.”
Volunteers will be used in a non-law enforcement capacity, with duties including managing property, preparing meals, doing supply runs

El Paso will begin receiving planes full of migrants from the Rio Grande Valley for processing, Congresswoman Veronica Escobar, D-El Paso, said.
“What we are seeing is families continue to arrive at our nation’s front door and the only difference today than a year ago … is the pandemic, and so we have to make sure that we process people not just humanely, but that we do it safely,” she said, criticizing Gov. Greg Abbott’s refusal of federal funds for migrant Covid-19 testing.
Plans are in place for each migrant to be tested and quarantined if they test positive, Escobar said, noting that she has been in close communication with the Department of Homeland Security in order to assure the safety of the El Paso community and the refugees.
Two flights will arrive in El Paso per day beginning Monday, each carrying 135 migrants, said Ruben Garcia of Annunciation House.
What Rep. Escobar failed to mention, while criticizing the Texas governor, is the Biden administration allowing illegal immigrants to skip COVID-19 testing altogether.

I say, let the all in....Open the doors... Let them pour in, and into every blue state high income enclave possible.
Let them flood into Vail and Aspen, CO and of course Chicago, Detroit and New York....Portland and Seattle too.

In any normal time, with any uncompromised media, I would agree.
But, the Deep State is in 100% control of the news media. They will NEVER allow Trump near the levers of power again. Instead, and they are already proceeding to indoctrinate the public, they will offer the Kamala Harris administration as the solution.
Then when that fails, and we slip further towards Venesuela-status, they will argue we need to reelect her in 2024. Then again in 2028.
By that point we will be a festering third-world dump, but once again, the Deep State media will offer one of theirs as the way out -- provided they even bother with elections any more, of course.
If they do offer one of theirs to succeed Harris, it may even be a Republican .... but it will be a Mitt Romney / John McCain Republican, who will do their bidding.
That is MY prediction.

I am all for this country going to hell in a hand basket. The only way things are restored, is for us to hit rock bottom, and the sooner the better.
1. The election shows that our votes don’t count.
2. It uncovered the corruption and deceit in our gov’t esp the likes of McConnell and the rest of the RINO GOP.
3. It shows us that the SCOTUS are mainly figureheads, who won’t take on the difficult decision. For example, is there any doubt now, in anyone’s mind, regarding Roe vs Wade. The SCOTUS will NOT, I repeat, will no way take this up. Oh maybe they’ll play this game where two or three of them want it heard, but it will not come before them, 5 out of 9 will say it is precedent law.
4. IF things do not hit bottom soon with Kamala Harris becoming VP, her appointing a new VP and we go from there, then things may get pretty sticky with China, Iran, NOK etc.
They’re already sending our troops to God knows where behind our backs.
5. I could go on and on, but suffice to say, I want everyone to feel the pain.
Harris is the most empty suit of the all.
Trump has raised the bar regarding giving access to the press, transparency, intelligence and ability to handle a dozen things at once while dealing with hostility towards him everywhere.
This lady is a nothing burger. Any high school senior president could run things better than she can. She has no moral, political, ethical compass. No one can articulate what she stands for, because she stands for everything.
The democrats and republicans brought this on themselves. So, let them deal with it.
Trump in the mean time, has directed his focus to the states of the United States.

I thought Biden might make it until the 4th of July. Don’t see it. If things start getting bad, the press will smoke him out.
No, I’m not retracting anything. Let them pour in...drugs disease, crime etc etc.
You know something? Why aren’t there class action suits for aftermath of what democrats have done to us? I’m talking about the elderly herded into nursing homes to die, sanctuary city policies, open borders etc. There should be consequences for the actions politician unilaterally take.
Why hasn’t some legal firm started the ads asking for people who had love ones die in New York nursing homes, filing a class action against Cuomo and the state of New York?
What does a state governor have to do with immigration? The feds and courts have already (mis)ruled that immigration is strictly a federal prerogative and the states can do nothing about it. Thus why should the state governor get federal funding to have the state test any of these new federal wards?
And if the federales can fly the illegals hundreds of miles between Texas locations, they can fly them back to Mexico. They just have chosen not to.
