Imagine walking away from your spouse in the first couple of years of marriage.
I agree, she could do that and should do that as opposed to killing herself, but expecting someone who is emotionally distraught enough to consider killing themselves to do that is unreasonable. As I mentioned, she trapped herself. She’s lucky that her husband is willing to walk away from his life and heritage for her.
