Friend had a restraining order against an ex-girlfriend who continued to stalk, harass, vandalize his home and car for a year until he finally shot and killed her.
Nikki’s faith in the legal system is misplaced. I hope she has a backup plan.
>> Incredibly, this murderer has received good-time early release credits by the Tennessee Department of Corrections even as he wrote these letters.
Time off for good behavior by demented MURDERERS.
Thank you Bernie Sanders and Soros DAs.
They are the sort who want the criminally insane out of prison AND voting for Democrats.
BULL. “Orders of protection”? As if CRIMINALS obey laws? This is ridiculous. It would be better to teach the victims to shoot.
Excellent! They can use that piece of paper as a shield when the axe murderer is swinging one at their heads.
Protection orders aren’t worth the paper they are printed on, get a gun if you want protection.
If the most violent crimes came with a no-option death sentence, then this legislation would not be needed. In the case of the woman for whom the bill is being offered, the maniac that walked into the restaurant and gunned down her husband in coldblooded murder should have never been allowed a day of freedom from that moment until he was executed by a firing squad. Problem solved—no additional legislation needed.
Well that’s great :/
Considering many Orders of Protection do NOTHING to stop the criminal from trying to reach the intended victim this bill is also useless.
Victims of stalkers should be issued a handgun and training instead. Or just hang the deranged perp.
