Not yet, they’ll claim that the clerk of the court (fell on her sword and) showed it was a clerical error. Funny that ... it is necessary to update software while an election is in progress. If these systems are so trustworthy, election system in place with safeguards, why are any updates necessary. I mean, how difficult is it to count votes?

The ONLY way to use computers to count votes is to create an Open Software Foundation for open-source software and do not allow proprietary software. Dominion and others can convert to an open-source business model where they provide hardware, training and support, but they do NOT provide proprietary code. All code would be available for everybody to update and modify as they see fit compliant with open source requirements.
