Laughing at them as a tactic, at least at this point and in these circumstances, is at best a complete waste of time, and at worst makes us look like clueless idiots.
They make this stuff up about the CPAC set design and it blows up in their own faces.

Answering with, "well, it's not a Nazi rune and if it is, the Dems are the real Nazis, and here's the proof" just does two things: First, it engages the enemy on his battlefield ("You guys are Nazis") and second, by accepting the major premise ("OK, it's a nazi rune but Dems did it first") you make yourself look weak and afraid of the enemy's rhetoric

In fact, I think the entire "liberals are the real fascists" nonsense is completely wrong and misguided.
Everything the liberals are doing is communist or communist-inspired. It is not fascist IN THE LEAST, unless your grasp of history and ideology is so weak that you use "fascist" as a synonym for "a bad thing I don't like".
