They should rename it “The Committee of Public Safety”, in order to maintain the local French revolution vibe.
Years ago I passed some incident in Newark NJ and there was a large police vehicle there; I’ve seen it since parked in some of the wilder areas of the city. The wording on it was “Neighborhood Stabilization Unit”; I guess it brought short-term civilization along, and when it left, the ferals would start wilding again...
