Glad he did it, but hard to get excited about lifting months of restrictions that should have never been put in place.
I think his own words are indicative, paraphrasing... The time to open is NOW - so we’re going to open in 10 days.
Between this and the power failure, he’s got real political problems.

Suicides and drug overdoses are up in Abbott's state and across the country because of loneliness and the stress of lost jobs and lost businesses. Young people across the country are depressed because they can't be in school with their friends - or even play sports.But, but, but... white liberal elites sitting in their 40 room DC mansions say the lockdown hasn't been that hard...
