If I were trying to destroy a country, rip its social fabric to shreds, and bring on a blood-soaked civil war that left it in pieces, what would I do?
That might not be the kind of thing nice, Christian readers of The Stream think about very often. I promise you solemnly that other people do.
Thousands of highly trained professionals around the world strategically ponder such ugly ideas. Some work in China, Iran, or other enemy countries. Others live right here among us, and hate the country that hosts them — or even that birthed them — for ugly, Utopian reasons.
The way to get a country to tear itself apart isn’t a secret. Any student of history could lay it out for you:
Destroy the legitimacy of a country’s institutions, elites, and leaders. Convince people that the rich and powerful in their homeland hold the common man in crass contempt. That the courts are systematically rigged. So the rulers leave no options for the peaceful redress of grievances.
Teach the masses that their votes don’t really count, and the government is their enemy. And the media are lying to them, in service of private agendas. And a double standard prevails, even in criminal courts, depending on which political faction the accused belongs to.
In other words, act as the left did concerning the 2020 election.

Obama is not a natural born citizen.
He is exactly why the founders excluded the children of foreigners with the natural born citizen clause.
The Kenyanesian Usurpation laid the groundwork for everything that followed.

And that is EXACTLY WHY our side keeps getting our asses kicked. We assume that just because someone is lucky enough to be American, they will LOVE the country. Oh, we know that is often (maybe usually) not the case in poor, minority, areas, but for those born to ‘better people’, people in suburbs, people who can afford to send their kids to to private colleges - those kids must LOVE THE COUNTRY.
Well, no one believed us when we said it wasn’t true, are you guys now starting to believe us? Nothing changed, other than they now have the power to crush us, quite possibly without even having to show up at our doors.
I have a different take on the election. Practically all of my family voted for Biden because they hated Trump. Democrat pollsters probably saw that and sort of egged him on.
But my boss recently apologized to us for her sometimes bad temper. I told her to be careful about suppressing that temper because it is a bi-product of her good leadership attributes.

Cloward-Piven wrote about this years ago. The KGB during the Cold War also had a “wishlist” to destabilize the West.
There is not an exact answer to the question, but a good place to begin would be to analyze those writings and determine how far we have come and are moving towards those goals.
The answer is frightening because there has been huge progress on each of those goals. Every single one of them. I am not being hyperbolic when I say that I never believed we would move this far towards totalitarianism this quickly.
There is still a disconnect for those of us in “flyover country” between their policies and our reality. How long can it last? I don’t know. We read about it. We hear about it. We debate it and point it out to one another. But it still does not seem real for most of us....

Yes, but the question becomes: Why did they hate President Trump?
To me, it appears they hated Donald Trump because they were told to hate Donald Trump, mainly with all the lies they were told about him.

One of my daughters said they didn’t know what Biden stood for but they just hated Trump.
Indeed voter stupidity is a major factor.

I think the left has overreached, like they always do, except this time the repurcussions for them could be catastrophic.
During the campaign, their loyal soldiers in the media were careful to hide Joe Biden’s impairment. They showed him gabbing with guests in his basement, of course, and they covered his “rallies” (which were basically six people in social-distancing circles) by only showing a tight shot of Joe at his podium, and carefully-selected soundbites. It was enough to fool the low-info into believing Joe was compos mentis.
But since the election, everyone — even the low-info — has seen the real, mush-mouthed, stumbling, out-of-it Joe. And they can’t help but think, “Wait a minute! This isn’t what we were sold! They lied to us!”
And if they lied so blatantly about Joe, there’s a real good chance they’ve been lying about COVID, and “peaceful protests” and both impeachments, and “RussiaRussiaRussia,” and all the other crap that’s been pulled over the last four years.
Ironically, it may be the condition of Joe himself that proves conclusively the world has been gaslighted to get rid of a private, non-swamp American who had the temerity to become President.
Com on. Give everyone credit. Besides the deep state aka DC
swamp, there was Lame Street Media, social network billionaires and all those poll workers that gladly accepted boxes and boxes of fraudulent ballots and counted them up to five times, all for Joe, of course.
Of course they lied but thats not why the sphincter with feet is Commander in Thief.
They also cheated massively in PA,GA,AZ,MI and MN by millions of fraudulent ballots/ machine resets.
Let’s hope that SOMETHING happens that’s so blatant the low-IQ people can see the truth.
