Although that is well short of the nearly 1.5 million that Newsom opponents will ultimately need to call a statewide recall election, they expressed confidence Friday that they are running ahead of what state records indicate.

I only posted the article to introduce everyone to Michael Grover Coltharp II who is running for governor.
I have met Michael at many, many, many rallies over the last year.
Super nice guy, well thought on the issues, businessman and ex-cop.

Anyway, if you are Californian and get to vote for a new governor this fall, I hope you will keep your eyes for Grover and support him.
As many of you know I have been very active in Bridge Rallies, Truck Rallies, Boat Rallies, Walking Rallies, Phone Banking, Door Hangers, Donations to Trump and various candidates(My girlfriend Lauren Boebert won, my other girlfriend, Stacy Klacik, will prevail in future time in her district).
Grover showed up just about everywhere. His speeches are well received, he takes extra time afterward to have conversations on his bus and eats a hamburger or hot dog like a man(not some effit Kerry)
I think he is a rising star. Keep your eyes and ears open to him and if you are so inclined you can read his view here:

And here is his resume:

If you are in Monterey next Saturday March 13, he is having to two meet and greet at:
He seems very nice and would do well in many parts of the country. But the CA GOP needs a serious overhaul and find MAGA-minded people who are more, culturally diverse. I’m not being woke just stating facts.
Things are looking up!
As the article states, the validated number is a month old. The recall campaign hasn’t updated their total for a week. By memory is was 1.85M; 4.95m verified are required. Given rumblings of Democrats dirty tricks (imagine!) I’ll bet they’re holding back the late totals. The paid gatherers are doing steady business at the Wal Mart here in glorious Republican Placer County.
Sorry. Just under 1.5M needed, not 4.5
