The 305 project was supposed to prove the seas were rising but actually proved parts of S.Florida were sinking while other areas were rising...lol
If I recall, much of Miami was built on swamp land, like New Orleans.
Miami Beach is a mess. I was there two years ago for a funeral. That morning there was a light rain. I had to park four blocks away. For all four blocks I had to walk in the middle of a four-lane street because the sidewalk and most of the street was underwater.
It’s a fun town but you’d have to be insane to buy housing there.
