What is wrong with women and hair?

Until about 1920 women did not shave at all.

If it’s good for women then why don’t men shave their body hair? Until about 1960, men in the movies had to shave their chest hair if they had their shirt off in a film.

Until about 1920 it was scandalous for women to show anything above the ankle as well. If you want to go back to that standard, then I’m completely fine with women not shaving.
