Back way when I recall Italian immigrant women who shaved their arms. But not under them.

Until about 1920 it was scandalous for women to show anything above the ankle as well. If you want to go back to that standard, then I’m completely fine with women not shaving.
My point was the blade companies were looking to expand their market and so they came up with women needed to shave. U
Hmm, could be, but if the marketing department came up with it, then I think it’s one of the better gimmicks they’ve ever come up with.
