Ain’t that the truth. It really is something to watch this and I feel sorry for my kids every time I look at them because they (much more so than “we”) will have to clean this mess up.
This stimulus bill is criminal. Generational theft is now the norm in DC. Trump deserves a bit of scorn for this also. Sure, he grew the economy, but he did nothing to break the cycle and shame the porkfest in both parties.
We are on a cycle that is not sustainable that will create much pain in the future.
The entire Dem redistributionist ethos is “goodies for Our People, dirt for the rest”. They’re just trying to figure out a reliable and deniable way to accomplish it.

Suburban women are busy watching the view, with spiral kaleidoscopes spinning in their eyes, mesmerized, receiving their programming that you and 80 million Trump voters are out to get them.

The democrooks are willing and able to bankrupt the country to stay in power. Bleed us dry to pump up their cronies in the failed states by coming up with this farce of a bill supposedly aimed at COVID relief. Garbage. But elections count, too bad.
I do not disagree when it comes to “scale”, but it’s the mindset that needs changing.
Sadly, it won’t change. The only way a politician in DC can get in trouble today is to preach fiscal responsibility. The easiest and most prudent thing to do for reelection is belly up to the trough and kick the can.
We have crossed the point of no return now given our entitlement programs and we will now debase our currency. It will not only impact us, weakening the dollar will create economic instability around the world opening the door for China to create a new world reserve currency. This has ramifications far beyond our current politics.
Technically aren’t we already bankrupt?
