There was no force. They had a Supreme Court ruling on their side. It was all due to money. This whole thing with gays in scouting came from Robert Gates and Rex Tillerman. They were facing a loss of corporate funding from AT&T, Exxon, and others corporate politically correct companies, whose own perverse HR beliefs collided with the Scouts Oath, and if they didn’t put f@ggots in leadership roles, they would all leave...which the BSA should have let happened. They were already suffering from a serious pedofile problem from the 60-70’s and paid out tons of money to settle them. Thank God my kid eagled out the year when they made that decision and we left. Bunch of morons. Killed a great organization.
