I have been hearing the same thing. Wonder if this is part of the reason for all the troops staying behind. They didn’t take caution on the 6th. Maybe because they knew and wanted that to happen.

That’s a fair interpretation, but it isn’t the only one.

Typically conservative rallies are so orderly that the place is cleaner when they leave than when they arrived.

That doesn’t mean they aren’t beclowning now, but the typical low risk of things getting out of hand could well have been simply taken advantage of.
