Entertainment, inflammatory, frustrating entertainment. I don’t watch FNC, and sometimes I catch Maria on FBN to see where the futures are headed. Maria does the FNC thing, get two people on with opposing views and have a food fight. Neither listens to the other, there is never acknowledgement nor concession of a point. It’s always just spewing talking points.
Bah. That just irritates me, raises my bp and I don’t need that.
I don’t fear invasion. The US is big, would be hard to manage and there are still lots of guns. If the Dems manage to put a significant dent in gun ownership, then yes, invasion becomes more viable. But I think you’re spot on with the Soviet comparison. They’ll try, get put down, much misery, then a collapse. And master Xi smiles.
Regarding invasion, the challenge is that they don’t have to invade the whole place. However, they have to be desperate to do it. And desperate times call for desperate actions - by people AND countries.
