ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man whose sentence was commuted by President Barack Obama has pleaded guilty to new drug charges.

Federal prosecutors say 46-year-old Ruben Bullock pleaded guilty to possessing with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine and violating federal supervised release.

Bullock's sentence for a previous drug conviction was commuted by President Obama in 2016 and was still on supervised release when he was arrested in January.

Prosecutors say he was arrested when probation officers carried out probation searches on his houses, believing he was engaging in criminal activity.

According to prosecutors, they found approximately 750 grams of cocaine, two scales and a bag containing baking soda, which is commonly used to process cocaine.

Probation officers also found $8,000 in cash as well as marijuana. Prosecutors say when the probation officers arrested Bullock, he had $8,554 in cash and he admitted that he bought a kilo of cocaine the day before for $45,000, as well as possessing the marijuana found during the search.

Bullock faces a minimum of 10 years in prison, a maximum of life in prison and a fine of up to $8 million.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 8.

Obama should be held responsible for criminal actions of any person who had their sentences commuted by Obama. For each case, Obama should be charged with being an accessory to the crime.

According to Obama (in his book), he admitted to selling cocaine. Is this one of his original customers ? ? ?

...possessing with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine ...

He has given a death sentence to so many people by helping to keep them addicted.

I am not in favor of the death penalty...except for this. Put him to death!

Five to 10% of Americans should be banished to a place they can call their own. Since most of them will be men the climate should be conducive to raising sheep. There’s plenty of white collar bad guys out there so they wouldn’t lack for management.

Just think how many of our problems would go away. Young troublemakers could send their summers there like it’s a boot camp.
