The European Commission will present a proposal in March on creating an EU-wide digital vaccination passport, Commission president Ursula von der Leyen said on Monday.
“As for the question of what the digital green passport could look like: we will submit a legislative proposal in March,” she said in a video conference with German conservative lawmakers.

Ursula is desperate to keep her job and remain relevant, following the EU vaccine debacle.
This vaccine passport idea is, at least initially, designed to allow travel between EU & “third countries” - and is also being driven by Greece’s offer to the UK to allow fairly free travel to and from the UK in time for the tourist season.
Each EU country can set it’s own entry requirements and Spain/Portugal are keen to get UK tourists too.
But without an over-arching EU scheme in place, the EU faces a summer of discontent.
I can see the russians and chinese and north koreans will be right there to sign up for that.

And when the Airlines say that noone wants to fly, and the transport companies start asking for more rate hikes etc etc then you will see this BS go away, there are way to many good people awake in the US now to allow this to stand.

The elites want to collapse the airline industry. They want international travel just for themselves and the mass migrations.
If that was the case, they would not bail them out or give billions of dollars to them.
It’s another step toward the universal social credit (and vaccination) score system used in China, where’by the totalitarian government who can go where, when, buy what, etc., every day.
They already have a version of it on college campuses and are starting to introduce it for school children. It has been planned and is being rolled out universally.
When was the last time the airline industry received bailout, before covid?

My point is that when there is a crisis, the Federal govt offers help. Just as with Covid. Do, I don’t think the Feds want them to collapse
