Doctor Seuss: A Different PerspectiveI am afraid very few people know the true story behind Dr. Seuss’ books: their origin, purpose, and some unintended effects on literacy in America. Doctor Seuss’ book are basically Dick and Jane type look-and-say (sight-words) readers on steroids, made available on a universal scale.
