They were okay with bumpstock bans. So now they act concerned. Shall be infringed, if we say so.

I listened to the NPR interview with the Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines. I had to shut it off when she said that she “couldn’t speak with authority about what happened...” when questioned about the 1/6 assault on the capitol. What a crock of crap! She didnt deny that the FBI warned the day before of the likelyhood of violence. AND we now know that Trumps request for NAT’L Guard was turned down. This lady is dirty!

Surely you are not contending that Trump is part of the establishment of the Republican party.

Democrats want more than anything else to see the NRA shut down. That’s obvious to all of us in the U.S

That is not at all obvious to me. I believe the Democrats want the NRA not shut down but exactly in the weakened state it barely exists in today. They want an NRA to kick around but an NRA that offers no real threat to their electoral ambitions.

Think of it this way, the Democrats want a Ku Klux Klan to kick around but not a Ku Klux Klan strong enough to tip any election except their way as the Democrats damn the clan as they virtue signal.

So they want today's enervated, scandal written, discredited NRA as a foil and certainly not the NRA of old that opposed "assault rifles" and help Republicans win elections.

Many French did not give up their weapons when the Nazis invaded and occupied France. Learn from history, folks.I

We live in occupied America with criminal democrats in government.

They won’t have to do much “door to door” gun confiscation. A few show-piece ops for network TV will do it. They’ll just send you a notice stating that they already know what newly-illegal guns you have to a 90% certainty, based on AI programs scraping and data-mining your social media, credit card purchases, etc.

You’ll be told that next Thursday at 9AM is your time to come to a certain address with said newly illegal guns and magazines. Covid distro gives them a model for this system. Instead of going to get a shot, you’ll be going to turn in the guns on the list.

Many or most people will refuse to do so. A week later, they are totally disappeared from social media. Digitally disappeared. Makes it hard to complain.

If you send an email to your local news station, they will automatically get an email ahead of yours, or your email will be inside of a “warning box.” This is how they do it in China. Chinese programmers are working with silicon valley to get us up to speed.

The local news will not touch the story, as the automatic DHS email will have been sent first warning about the dangerous suspected domestic terrorist. So the local news will not cover your story.

You’ll get more warnings to turn in the newly illegal guns they know you have. (Doesn’t have to be all of them, just some of them. Serial #s won’t matter, they’ll have your own social media confession, pictures, credit card history, etc. You bought ten P-Mags? They know you have an AR. Turn it in, or else.)

Still don’t comply? You’re doxxed at work. Your company can’t take the “risk” of employing you. You and your wife the school teacher or nurse will be unemployed. Again, you can’t get the local news to touch the story.

Next step: your ATM card is frozen. Then your credit cards. Your bank drops you.

They won’t need to do door to door gun raids. They’ll lock you in a digital gulag in your own house.

And if you freak out and try to get revenge, who do you go after? DC is now behind a wall guarded by troops. Your local police chief? Mayor? Then you are a terrorist, and they’ll kill you or send you to a real prison if you go after them.

Just some thoughts of mine about how this might roll out. Do I know for a fact this is how they will enforce a gun ban? No. But it’s worth considering more than just “they don’t have enough door kickers.”

The Digital Gulag is Practice for Extermination
[My title was just “The Digital Gulag,” they added the rest.]

Curmudgeon is exactly correct. Please add his IRS “interlocking documentation” analogy to my #46 above. And don’t think for a minute that they won’t get all the gun sales records, once they pass their “Emergency Measures To Prevent Domestic Terrorism Act.”

Curmudgeon:
“Have you noticed that the IRS manages to enforce the tax laws? And have you noticed how they do it? Every taxable transaction is documented by multiple parties so that one party’s failure to report will be revealed by the another party’s paperwork. Then the person who violated the tax law is made an example of, a horrible example, causing reasonable people to be very afraid of the IRS. They will use a similar method to end gun ownership.”

We built the systems they would be using, we know exactly how to take them offline. They would have no commercial media, no social media, no federal reserve network, no credit cards, no banking, no phone lines, no cell phones, no satellite networks, no railroads, no airlines, nothing.

There is a HUGE (YUUUGE?) difference between a tax law and a gun confiscation. Few would support others in violating the tax laws, but many would support those resisting gun confiscation.

Yes. Joe Blow wouldn't have enough nerve. He also doesn't think ahead about things like air support for finding and catching him. He doesn't have a clue about where aviation, communications and other facilities are. He's too full of "rugged" independence to get organized, even face-to-face with other men he's well acquainted with. He'll indulge in more gossip and fantasizing, but that's about it. He'll continue to watch TV and chat with his friends about imagined conquests.

This does not mean they won’t try.

The Japanese tried Pearl Harbor.

Sure, but once the people understand the attacks they will also revolt.

Forget a silent war, it will go kinetic. One thing these childish communists forget: Never take away a man’s options and back him into a corner because he has no choice but to fight, and these kids don’t have it in them to resist us.

It is why Jan 6th scared the snot out of them. It truly is like a 7 year old mouthing off to an adult and getting backhanded into next week. These kids have weaponized our laws but they will find out we’ll smack them hard.

It is coming. It cannot be stopped because China is the puppet master here and all the polidiots have been bought or blackmailed into compliance with their demands. The system is too corrupt to continue. It will fall under its own weight. They will try out patience and they will call our bluff. It will not end nicely.

“Yes. Joe Blow wouldn’t have enough nerve.”

Either you are a rotten pessimist or terrible at reverse psychology. Maybe you should leave FR and go form your own army to your vision of warriors and brave men since you think the rest of us are useless couch potatoes.

I think the weak point will be the gun collection points, which will need to be guarded and run mainly by local LE.

They will get “night letters” or the digital equivalent telling them that if they take any part in the gun collection/confiscation, they will be targeted anywhere, at anytime.

China Joe's "extreme measures" would of course be subject to Constitutional review by the USSC, but that presumes the justices of the USSC have even the slightest interest in honoring their oath to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America".

Such review was previously a "given" but is no longer a certainty in today's America. The easy "out" for them is to simply rule the USSC has no "standing" to decide Constitutional cases. (A joke, yes, but it wouldn't be a complete surprise!)
