Just what the hell do you call decades and tens of trillions of dollars of welfare, food stamps, and mollycoddling? The taxpayer is owed reparations.
A columnist whose name slips my memory said reparations should amount to the difference between the average income of American blacks and the average income of African blacks, which is what American blacks would have earned if their ancestors had remained there. On that basis African Americans owe the U.S. billions of dollars.
