Many of us call it no-nonsense law-and-order. Maybe you prefer the non-stop assaults on police in Portland and the criminals released for every crime under the sun?
If you stop it at the “kicking the cop in the ankle” stage, it doesn’t turn into Portland.
So in your mind the only 2 choices are anarchy -vs- police state?

Agreed. The idea you would even verbally assault a police officer or even remotely hurt one, is nutty.
If you respect the cops, they respect you. In ID, you can legally carry concealed at 18. People here drive with weapons all day.
