Everyone has known about Cuomo’s...proclivities for years.
So why go after him now?
Something else is going on.
NYers better figure it out before we’re collateral damage.

And isn’t it interesting that Cuomo’s not being gone after on corruption, but sexual harassment.
The corruption case would be far easier to prove. And there’s a lot of it.
The last thing the media and the rest of the Demagogic Party wants is scrutiny over the nursing home genocides (it wasn’t just Cuomo) — so change the subject. DeBlasio has been Cuomo’s enemy a long while, and now that the NY aholes don’t have President Trump to villainize, they’ve got the leisure and imperative to turn on each other and conduct purges and such. It won’t be just in New York.
You can hide sexual predators - as long as they are useful, or donate a lot. To bring down Trump (and the AL Senatorial candidate) with sexual molestation charges, Weinstein and Franken had to go.
You can hide (or pretend Cuomo is the “Covid-fighter-above-all—other-governors) - as long as the story of his dumping seniors into their coffins can be hidden.
You can hide power, corruption, and political greed and errors (fiscal and taxation stupidity) - as as Trump’s economy allows you to hide it among the nation’s general growth.
But now, after Nov 3 was successfully pulled off?
Cuomo’s anchors and baggage are now bigger than his (even dubious) “achievements” in New York. He has too many enemies who know too much to be a viable Presidential candidate now.
Like Al Franken. He’s gone. Flushed.
