Insanity does indeed reign supreme.
They already control the flow of information, which controls peoples’ thoughts, which influence outcomes in elections. So what would change?
Government has already farmed out to big tech the job of eliminating freedom of thought, while hiding behind the Constitution saying “I didn’t do it!”
Google/facebook/twitter/ have already changed the direction of this country by suppressing truth and promoting fake news. So nothing would change.
By the way... this pretty much happens anyway... with the largest companies pretty much owning local government.
Now that American principles of representation have been educated OUT of the people, bringing oligarchy out into the open is the next logical step.
What has happened to this country?? Have we totally gone stupid!!???!! Now we want to allow non elected people and groups to determine how we are to live, think, eat, drink and s&%#!!! America is no longer the land of the free. We simply have become a gulag nation, ruled by tyrants, the very tyrants we fought so many times to remain free. The only thing is, this time, THEY are inside our borders, not in a foreign country. I am so damned glad that my life is near the end of its cycle. I don’t think I could live in this nation and survive to be my current age. I am so glad that I retired from the military nearly 30 years ago. I would never make it today, I’d end up courts-martialed. Our nation is stinking to the core. I fear for the very young. My grand children and the coming great grandchildren. They are going to have to live in this nation of thugs. There are simply more of them than there are of us. I pray to GOD that they can hang in and take the nation back.
I hear ya. I don’t have any grandchildren yet but all of my brothers are sisters are liberal with lots of kids. Whatever I say falls on deaf ears. They chant in unison, we are a much more open and loving country now. They’re all going to have a rude awakening.

I did a quick scan of the article on msn and found no mention of the Gov’s political leaning. Suffice it to say he is NOT a conservative.

Anything that large here in Nevada would be under FEDERAL control. They already control over 87% of the entire state land mass.
