I was there in person, although I couldn’t get into the main ballroom (too full!) so I had to settle for an overflow room. Amazing speech!
Fantastic! I just finished listening to Gov Desanta’s (sp) speech. That was terrific! And he mentioned Rush too. Are you there for the entire event?
We were at CPAC 2020 (and went to at least 10 CPACs before that one).
The ACU crammed in about 6,000 people inside the gigantic Potomac Ballroom at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland a year ago. Thousands more were always milling around outside in the corridors, or break-out rooms.
I saw it reported somewhere (can't find that source now) that CPAC 2020 counted 19,000 attendees.
From what I've seen on TV this year, CPAC doesn't look as crowded as usual. If that's the case, I assume it's because of COVID and the FL location.
