The tone of the article is basically shocked, shocked! that a sitting U.S. Senator would claim life-affirming genital removal, addition, etc. might be considered ‘mutilation’ when all sane/normal people know that if a man wants to pretend he’s a woman, why he’s a woman. Rand Paul obviously doesn’t believe science!
