A friend of mine pointed out that elder care costs will increase because the in-home care people will quit those harder jobs for the easier ones that pay the same. Then, we will pay more for elder care. Solution to the problem? A new pandemic to hit those of us who didn’t succumb to the CCP virus this time around.

Not to mention, those who are advocating for a federal minimum wage of $15 do not understand that all those jobs in warehouses that we order online will become even more automated than they already are. Robots will be used for picking orders. They can work around the clock, they show up on time, often need little maintenance, don’t sass the boss, and don’t need benefits like healthcare and whatnot.

Robots ... I think you are right. There are already robotic milkers available for cows. They are always on time, sober, pay attention, treat the cows right, and can be set up to milk the cows 3 or 4 or more times a day instead of 2 or 3 times.

Cost is a big down fall, but the minimum wage goes up, robots will look better and better.
