Fell from my attic onto concrete garage floor — about 10 feet. Snapped femur in 6 places.
I had migraine’s for year, and kidney stones. Both are extremely painful.
I can tell you though that the pain of that broken femur was beyond excruciating and I can tell you that the pain was far worse than any kidney stone.
I have a steel rod through the femur held in place with 6 plates, nuts and bolts. Another rod attaches top of femur to hip. Was in “official rehab for 18 months, and still continue on my own with my own equipment. It is a long, painful and arduous process to regain full use of a limb so badly injured.
