Laws are for little people.

True dat.

My brother got a dwi in 09/2019. His first traffic offense in 45 years. He was appx 1/2 mile from his home. He was arrested on the spot and the case is STILL ongoing!

He's been jerked around by both the lawyers and the court itself. The prosecutor wanted to immediately throw the book at him. It made no difference that he had a spotless driving record; or that he'd worked at least 13 hours that day and was fatigued; or that he had just lost his (our) dad; that other factors were involved but there was No mercy; no leniency ...nothing.

So here it is 2021; he's done the satop classes, paid fines and fees and is on probation; it is STILL an open case with his next court date being next month.

But ole Brucey walks away. Justice in america is finished.

I’m no fan, but really?

You too would have been let go, if even charged with a BAC of 0.02%. That there was any question of impropriety is ludicrous on its face.

This was the purest of posturing by some hick sheriff’s deputy trying to make a name for himself. No law was broken, but a crap ton of publicity ensued for Springsteen.

Laws are for little people, but campaign (or personal?) donations from Jeep are for the people who count.

I wonder how much rescuing a new ad campaign is worth.
