Not saying he was guilty of every single charge, but he was quite guilty of enough of them, he was never going to get out of prison.

If he had a life insurance policy, the beneficiaries will still get the money if the policy has been in effect for at least two years. That money is untouchable in any lawsuit, as are some other assets depending on the bankruptcy laws of the state. Same probably goes any retirement plans.

USA Gymnastics has the deep pockets, as does the University of Michigan.

He will also never be guilty in the eyes of for the crimes he committed.

He was charged with 14 counts of “human trafficking and forced labor causing injury,” 6 counts of “human trafficking of a minor for forced labor,” 1 count of “first degree criminal sexual conduct,” 1 count of “second degree criminal sexual conduct,” and 1 count of “lying to a cop during a violent crime investigation.”

The trafficking charges are vague and pertain to incidents that occurred “on or about 2010-2013” or “on or about 2008-2013.” Are you kidding me? The person injured by the coach’s criminal behavior doesn’t even know for sure when it occurred?

There were also 2 charges that he committed “criminal sexual conduct,” which are concerning but, once again, also vague.

Nessel should be ashamed of herself for what she’s been doing to ppl in Michigan. And even sadder is the damage her actions have caused for women’s gymnastic programs.
